Area Committees

Area Service Committee

“Workhorse” of the service structure—maybe that’s the best way to describe the area service committee. Most of the hands-on work of delivering NA services to the groups and the community occurs at the area level.

Meets the second Saturday of every month @ 5:30pm LOCATION VARIES  

 

Literature

Literature maintains a stock of NA books and pamphlets that can be purchased by local groups at the monthly Area Service Committee meeting.

S.U.A.C.N.A 

The SUACNA Subcommittee puts together a convention so we as addicts can carry the message to the still suffering addict, as well as celebrate our recovery.

Meets the first Sunday of every month at 9 AM 
@ SWBC in St George, UT

 

 Hospitals & Institutions

Carries the NA message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular NA meetings. Meetings or presentations are provided to hospitals, jails, addiction treatment facilities, detox centers, and other institutions.

Public Relations

This committee performs public relation services to increase the awareness and credibility of the NA program. Sharing our message openly with the public at large, with prospective members, and with professionals. Maintaining an open, attractive attitude in these efforts to help create and improve relationships with those outside the fellowship.

This group’s business meeting is held the Wednesday before Area every month and currently meets over Zoom

Area Entertainment

This committees primary purpose is to carry the message of NA and is dedicated in organizing entertainment events for Narcotics Anonymous of Southern Utah throughout the year.

Cedar City Growth Committee

This committees purpose is to create unity inside our NA fellowship as a whole, by organizing entertainment events for Cedar City and the Southern Utah Fellowship throughout the year.
